We offer the following classes during this service:
Nursery
Children 6 weeks-24 months old
2's & 3's Room
Children 24 months - age 3
Children turning 3 in the fall will move into the Preschool Class in January 2010.
Children turning 3 in the spring will move into the Preschool Class in June 2010.
Children turning 3 over the summer will move into the Preschool Class in September 2010.
Preschool Class
Children age 3 or 4 as of September 1, 2009
Grades K-1
Grades 2-3
Grades 4-5
Children report directly to Sunday school prior to service and must be signed in/out by a parent at drop-off and pick-up.
Class shepherds and teachers are asked to volunteer for four months (or to co-teach or co-shepherd for a four-month season) and are required to consent to a background check and attend a child protection training course.
Wednesday Evenings
We offer the following activities from 6:45-7:45 p.m. during the school year:
Preschool Choir:
Preschool children (age 3 or 4 as of 9/1/09) will enjoy this program of song, rhythm, movement and stories. These children will have a part in the G'z Kidz (Children's Choir) musicals as well as the opportunity to share songs with the congregation during worship.
Children's Choir (G'z Kidz):
Elementary age children (grades K5-5th) are invited to join us on Wednesday evenings during the school year for this music, movement and drama program. The children share music during worship throughout the year and present Christmas and spring musicals.
Live B.I.G.:
Children hear, see and live their Belief In God. Elementary age children (grades K5-5th) have lots of fun as they learn Christian values, grow spiritually, study, memorize and apply Scripture and develop life skills. We study and discuss a different Scripture each week. This is a loving, non-competitive, respectful environment for kids to grow in their faith. These children join the G'z Kidz for the last 15 minutes each week so that they may also participate in the Christmas and spring musicals if they wish.
Our nursery is also available on Wednesday evenings during these activities.
Nursery
Our nursery provides child care for children during:
- Weekend worship celebrations
- Wednesday night Bible studies (during the school year)
- Special events throughout the year
Special Programs
In addition to the programs provided during our worship services and on Wednesday evenings, we offer special children’s events throughout the year:
- Easter Camp (March)
- Vacation Bible School (June)
- Playtime in the Patch (October)
- Christmas Camp (December)
